My view on a perfect day at the beach. Time for breakfast: bagel with tuna salad and a bit of rocket. It’s not my ideal breakfast, but it was all I had in my fridge ;) Part of my lunch at my internship! Skyping with my family <3 Here you can see my sister & my nephew! Sunshine, blue skies… what’s not to love? Reflection in the mirror… and in the background my view during lunch at my internship. What I will miss about Curacao 26 november 2012 While there are of course things I miss about home during my stay here, there’s also a lot of things I am going to miss about Curaçao when I get back home. And maybe missing things from here is even worse, because when I’m home I have all the stuff I missed back, but going back to everything on Curaçao isn’t an option… Well, let’s not think about that (yet)! I still have two months here :) Here’s what I am definitely going to miss about living here: Around the house 25 november 2012 Like I said a few days ago, I love just walking around the house (mostly outside though, our inside of the house isn’t that photogenic) and taking pictures of random little things that catch my eye. After I decided to do that more often, I only did it one more time. But I got some nice shots out of it, if I may say so myself :) The light was beautiful, and I found some nice spots to photograph. Here’s a selection :) Zoals ik een paar dagen geleden al vertelde, ik vind het heerlijk om thuis rond te lopen en foto’s te maken van willekeurige dingetjes waar mijn oog op valt. Nadat ik had besloten dat ik het vaker wilde doen, heb ik het nog maar één keer gedaan. Maar ik heb wel wat mooie foto’s gemaakt, al zeg ik het zelf :) Het licht was prachtig en ik heb een paar fijne plekjes gevonden om te fotograferen. There are a lot of beaches out there and before that day I had only been to one of them. This time I actually visited five of the beaches that are at Westpunt: Santa Cruz, Kenepa Grandi, Kenepa Chiki, Jeremi and Lagun. Of course I had to bring my precious camera for such a big day, so I got to take a lot of nice (beach) pictures! These were taken at Playa Kenepa Grandi (also known as Grote Knip). Ongeveer twee weken geleden deed ik een soort van ‘strandtour’ bij Westpunt (het verste puntje aan de westkant van het eiland). Er zijn daar heel veel stranden, en tot dan toe had ik er nog maar één bezocht. Deze keer ben ik er zelfs op vijf geweest: Santa Cruz, Kenepa Grandi, Kenepa Chiki, Jeremi en Lagun. Natuurlijk nam ik mijn geliefde camera mee voor zo’n mooie dag, dus ik heb heel veel toffe (strand)foto’s kunnen maken! What I will miss about Curacao

While there are of course things I miss about home during my stay here, there’s also a lot of things I am going to miss about Curaçao when I get back home. And maybe missing things from here is even worse, because when I’m home I have all the stuff I missed back, but going back to everything on Curaçao isn’t an option… Well, let’s not think about that (yet)! Touring around Westpunt
