And of course, I love to actually watch it too ;) Loving the feeling after finally doing something that really needed to be done, but I was a little too lazy to do before. Feels good to get things done! Reading Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. This has been on my “to read list” for about 5 years, and I finally started reading it! I actually forgot I had a copy, but I read something about the movie and I realized I had the book & I really wanted to read it, before seeing the movie :) Watching Gilmore Girls. I’m addicted. Craving chocolate. Missing a nice sleeping pattern. On Curaçao I was used to getting up at 7am almost every morning, without a problem. Nowadays I can’t seem to get out of bed until it’s after 10 in the morning. Nails of the week 17 februari 2013 Yes, you’ve read that right: of the week. Ever since living on Curaçao – where I only had a very small selection of nail polishes – I don’t actually do my nails that often anymore. Can you believe it? Of course I still love nail polish – still refuse to go out the door without it -, it’s just less on my mind I guess ;) So my “nails of the day” became “nails of the week”. And so far my manicures seem to last at least a week without starting to look terrible, so that’s good! Anyhow, the chosen color of this week is one of my favorites: Navy by Barry M. For me, it’s a timeless color. Love it, especially with shorter nails! Yes, you’ve read that right: of the week. Ever since living on Curaçao – where I only had a very small selection of nail polishes – I don’t actually do my nails that often anymore. Can you believe it? Of course I still love nail polish – still refuse to go out the door without it -, it’s just less on my mind I guess ;) So my “nails of the day” became “nails of the week”. And so far my manicures seem to last at least a week without starting to look terrible, so that’s good! Anyhow, the chosen color of this week is one of my favorites: Navy by Barry M. For me, it’s a timeless color. Love it, especially with shorter nails!

Project! 365 Days of New Things

I’m not sure about the name 365 Days of New Things yet, but I will decide later ;) The important thing here is the fact that I am starting a new “365 days” project. It’s based on something I read in a magazine, about people starting these year-long projects where they choose something that they’ll do every day for a year. I say mine is based on it, because I won’t choose just one thing… my project is about doing something new every day. However little this something new might be! And of course I’ll blog about these (little) things. My goal is to get creative, to learn more about myself (and what I like or do not like) and to maybe even overcome some of my stupid (little) fears ;)

Super Simple Salad

I guess it is no secret that I love salads. I do have to admit, I actually haven’t had much salads lately! I’m too addicted to making pancakes, not only for breakfast but also for lunch ;) Anyway, I also love a salad for lunch, and especially when it’s easy to make. So here’s one of my super simple salad recipes ;)
