It took forever before I got all my luggage, but then it was finally time to see my family again ♥. Of course it was not without tears ;) But then it felt like I had just seen them last week! And wow, it was SO cold, I nearly froze when I stepped outside for the first time! Luckily today it isn’t as cold as yesterday, because I had to go outside to get groceries. It feels good to be back and it’s super awesome to be in my own little apartment (love it!), but I do miss Curaçao so much! I guess it will take some time to completely get used to being here again. I’m going through a lot of emotions right now, it’s hard for me to put it into (the right) words. So for now, some random pictures I took today. Bracelets that I got on both Curaçao and Bonaire. Not only was it a very quiet and beautiful island, but it was so much fun to ‘get away’ with friends for a weekend. I told you a little bit about the first day already; the second day was as much fun. We had breakfast at our apartment and then went to ride around on our scooters again to find a nice beach where we could snorkel. Here are some more pictures from that weekend! A sunny photoshoot 6 januari 2013 Something I almost never do, is taking pictures of people. Okay, that is actually not true… I do it all the time at my internship. But that’s different! I almost never do it in my spare time. I guess I always think I’m no good at it, and that the people I shoot won’t be happy with the results. Despite of those fears, I would like to do photoshoots with people more often. So last week I went outside for a walk & a photoshoot with my friend Wendy. I got to be the model too, she took some pictures of me ;) Here are some of the results I’m actually quite happy with. This was 2012 27 december 2012 Wow, almost time for 2013 already! I know I’ve said it a hundred times before, but it’s still true: time flies! Can’t believe how fast it goes sometimes. I’m sure you all can relate to that! As the new year is coming soon, I wanted to look back on the year I’ve had and do a little summary, in both words and pictures! In January I rang in the new year with good friends, went to Berlin for a few days to kick off my minor at school (learning about graphic design, art direction, photography!) & started in my Q&A a day diary. February was a very busy, a very cold & a very snowy month. I had to do a lot of school work – which also involved taking a lot of pictures, went to Antwerp for a few days, did a day trip to Amsterdam with my mom to take pictures & decided I wanted to be healthier and change my diet. In March I stopped eating sugar, did a lot of fun school assignments (made an inspiration book and a nail polish box) & I baked a cake (which failed terribly – too bad) for my 22nd birthday on the 20th. In April I was still eating much healthier, I discovered my love for baking things, I tried out HDR photography, celebrated Queen’s Day, sorted out my nail polishes and put on pink lipstick to celebrate my birthday with friends. « Oudere posts / Nieuwere posts »

After a flight that was only 8 hours and 40 minutes (I had expected about 10 hours) without any trouble I arrived back in Holland after five months! Weekend on Bonaire II

I really, really loved Bonaire! Not only was it a very quiet and beautiful island, but it was so much fun to ‘get away’ with friends for a weekend. I told you a little bit about the first day already; the second day was as much fun. We had breakfast at our apartment and then went to ride around on our scooters again to find a nice beach where we could snorkel. Here are some more pictures from that weekend!

Something I almost never do, is taking pictures of people. Okay, that is actually not true… I do it all the time at my internship. But that’s different! I almost never do it in my spare time. I guess I always think I’m no good at it, and that the people I shoot won’t be happy with the results. Despite of those fears, I would like to do photoshoots with people more often. Wow, almost time for 2013 already! I know I’ve said it a hundred times before, but it’s still true: time flies! Can’t believe how fast it goes sometimes. I’m sure you all can relate to that! As the new year is coming soon, I wanted to look back on the year I’ve had and do a little summary, in both words and pictures!

In January I rang in the new year with good friends, went to Berlin for a few days to kick off my minor at school (learning about graphic design, art direction, photography!) & started in my Q&A a day diary.

February was a very busy, a very cold & a very snowy month. I had to do a lot of school work – which also involved taking a lot of pictures, went to Antwerp for a few days, did a day trip to Amsterdam with my mom to take pictures & decided I wanted to be healthier and change my diet.

In March I stopped eating sugar, did a lot of fun school assignments (made an inspiration book and a nail polish box) & I baked a cake (which failed terribly – too bad) for my 22nd birthday on the 20th.
