I’m in love with this one, and it’s so great to be able to play the piano again now that I’m home ♥ Loving the fact that the snow is melting away! Reading all the Flow magazines I missed while I was gone. Watching 2 Broke Girls & of course still Glee. Craving a normal sleeping pattern. I’m still a bit jetlagged, so I don’t sleep much during the night… Missing Curaçao.

After a flight that was only 8 hours and 40 minutes (I had expected about 10 hours) without any trouble I arrived back in Holland after five months! It took forever before I got all my luggage, but then it was finally time to see my family again ♥. Of course it was not without tears ;) But then it felt like I had just seen them last week!
And wow, it was SO cold, I nearly froze when I stepped outside for the first time! Luckily today it isn’t as cold as yesterday, because I had to go outside to get groceries. It feels good to be back and it’s super awesome to be in my own little apartment (love it!), but I do miss Curaçao so much! I guess it will take some time to completely get used to being here again.
I’m going through a lot of emotions right now, it’s hard for me to put it into (the right) words. So for now, some random pictures I took today.

My five months here are over already, I can’t believe it. It has been such an amazing experience. There were a few bumps in the road, a few downs to balance out all the ups, but those things were also a part of the whole experience. Where there’s light there are shadows, right? I have met a lot of great people, made new friends, had the best internship and did so many awesome things. I got to live my life on Curaçao, wow. I have learned so much here, about so much! No one can ever take this away from me. I truly leave behind a piece of my heart. Goodbye, Curaçao ♥ (for now)
16 januari 2013Listening to Rest Of My Life by Ludacris, Usher & David Guetta. That song makes me happy, and I love the video. Loving the thought of having my very own little apartment back home! Yay for a clean bathroom and no waiting line for the kitchen ;) Reading a lot of unread blogs in my Bloglovin’! Watching the second season of 2 Broke Girls. Such a funny show, makes me laugh out loud every time. Craving fresh fruits. Missing all my friends/roommates who have already gone back to Holland…
